At Grupo Inventia we are carrying out an exciting new-build project in Barcelona. We are currently working on the construction of a new-build building located in the picturesque town of Monistrol de Montserrat. This project involves building a home from scratch. For that, we have carried out major preparation, foundation and structural work. The goal is to create a contemporary space that suits today’s needs.
Soon, we will be sharing each milestone of this new construction project that will completely transform the look of the plot. Below, we share the details of the work completed so far.
The first step of this new-build project was to prepare the land safely and efficiently. To achieve this, we carried out the complete demolition of the previous structure. This demolition process allowed us to clear the plot and get it ready for the next stages. During this phase, rubble and waste were removed, ensuring a clean and suitable space to begin the construction.
Afterward, the technical team worked on adapting the plot. The land was leveled and the construction boundaries were correctly defined. This task is essential in any new-build building. In this way, we ensure a solid base and a proper layout of the spaces.
The next step involved executing the foundation work. This process is key to ensuring the stability of the entire new-build building. A careful formwork was completed, and the steel reinforcements were placed to strengthen the structure. Thanks to these tasks, we achieve a strong base to safely build the upper floors.
Once the foundation was finished, we began building the main structure of the new-build building. Metal pillars were installed to support the entire construction. These pillars were precisely fixed onto the previously completed foundation pads.
Next, concrete was poured to form the base floor of the first level. Once this component cured, the space was ready to proceed with the vertical structure. This is one of the most important stages in any new-build project in Barcelona.
At present, the first floor of the new-build building has already been raised. This marks a significant milestone in the evolution of the work. The structure allows us to visualize the future interior layout and the final height of the building. Soon, we will continue with the construction of the upper levels. Each phase is executed under strict quality and safety controls.
