On Villarroel Street in Barcelona we have carried out a complete interior design in Barcelona project. It consists of the full renovation of a penthouse with terrace, where in addition to renovating the rooms, we have been in charge of selecting and placing all the furniture. With this work we have achieved a home with a contemporary interior design, functional and perfectly adapted to the daily life of its owners.
The new furniture project has allowed us to provide the penthouse with practical and welcoming spaces. In the living room, a beige sofa stands out, accompanied by a wooden trunk. This piece works as a coffee table and also as extra storage space. All of it is placed on a wicker rug that connects with the parquet and adds warmth.
In front of the living room is the dining area. Here we have placed a white round table accompanied by four chairs of the same color. This set fits perfectly with the contemporary interior design and creates a fresh and bright atmosphere. Chromatic neutrality is one of the keys of this project.
In the main bedroom we have also incorporated contemporary furniture in white tones. The room includes a double bed, bedside tables and a large wardrobe. In addition, a chest of drawers has been added to reinforce the storage capacity. Meanwhile, the penthouse’s second room can be used as a guest room or office and currently has a white wardrobe.
The terrace of this penthouse is one of its greatest attractions. To make the most of it, we have chosen outdoor furniture resistant to both sun and rain. In this way, the space is prepared for all kinds of uses throughout the year.
In one area we have placed a dark-finished wooden round table accompanied by three gray-finished chairs. It is an ideal space for breakfasts and meals outdoors. With this set, the terrace becomes a functional extension of the home.
The second area of the terrace has been designed as a relaxation space. It consists of a bench, two armchairs and a coffee table, all with a wicker finish and black cushions. These pieces are placed on a wicker rug similar to the one in the living room, creating a visual connection between the two areas through interior design in Barcelona.
Although the main focus of this project has been the furniture, we have also carried out the kitchen renovation and the bathroom. The kitchen is open and L-shaped. It offers two countertop sections, large storage capacity and a column with integrated appliances: fridge, oven, microwave and washing machine.
The bathroom has been expanded compared to its original state and is now more functional. It features a contemporary interior design with neutral finishes that enhance brightness. It is equipped with a sink, toilet and a spacious shower.
