We have completed a new complete renovation in Barcelona, specifically on Valencia Street. This new project joins all the complete renovations that Grupo Inventia has carried out during this period of the year. It is a complete renovation in which we have been responsible for renovating the kitchen and completely updating the interior design of the property, creating a functional, comfortable home ready to be inhabited.
Regarding the interior design, we have opted for a contemporary style in which neutral tones take centre stage. The aim was to create bright and visually spacious areas, making the most of the large amounts of natural light entering the property. The walls have been painted in neutral tones and combined with parquet-effect flooring, a perfect choice for adding warmth and continuity to the whole.
The result is a series of welcoming and pleasant rooms, both in the common areas, such as the dining room and hallways, and in the private spaces, including the bedrooms.
One of the great highlights of this complete renovation in Barcelona can be found on the ceiling of the dining area. It is an original ceiling with exposed brick and wooden beams that we have restored to preserve its character and highlight the property’s original architectural elements. A detail that adds personality and contrast to the contemporary design of the whole.
The new kitchen is located next to the entrance of the property and features a two-sided layout, consisting of a linear kitchen area and a central island. On the main countertop, we have installed the induction hob and incorporated different storage units, both in the lower and upper sections. In another module we integrate the refrigerator, the oven and the microwave.
The island incorporates the sink and further increases the kitchen’s storage capacity. In addition, its design allows it to be used as a practical breakfast bar and as an additional work surface.
Overall, we have managed to give this property a modern and contemporary look, combining functionality, brightness and original elements that add personality to each space.
