A new project of house renovation in Barcelona in the Gràcia neighborhood of Barcelona, of 80m2 useful. The owners of this house have decided to renovate it, to make it tailor-made and adapted to their needs.
The space is made up of a lounge-dining area, closed kitchen with gallery, 3 bedrooms, bathroom and toilet. The main objective of the project has been to get the most out of the space so that it is functional and practical for your current lifestyle.

The design proposal for this renovation seeks to create clean and bright spaces, as well as bring a touch of color to the wet areas of the bathroom and kitchen. We have painted the walls white, and some in an orange shade, and to add warmth, we have laid a laminated parquet floor with a natural wood finish. This combination is perfect to achieve a spacious and cozy space.
To have a continuity of colors and finishes, white PVC plinths have been placed together with the doors, which are also white and smooth, to integrate with the walls.
The kitchen has a rectangular surface and consists of two linear units on each side. Entering on the right we find the fridge followed by the sink, dishwasher and cooking area. On the left, we have a small pantry area and a bar perfect for quick meals. With new installation and appliances there is a completely renovated and ready-to-use kitchen.
Regarding the design of the kitchen, the clients wanted to take a risk with a hydraulic imitation floor tile, which gives personality and color to the stay. This floor, in orange tones, is combined with low furniture with an imitation wood finish and tall furniture in white, thus continuing with the general aesthetics of the flat.
We find different types of lighting. Downlights or light panels for the general ceiling light, a led strip under the tall piece of furniture specific to the work area, and some ceiling pendant lamps for the bar area.
In this bathroom, following the orange tone of the kitchen, we find a piece of furniture with two suspended drawers and an auxiliary module in the same terracotta tone that are the main piece of it. The rest of the bathroom, in order not to overload it, has been designed with a grayish tile on the floor, combined with a small format tile on the wall, and white paint.
The other sanitary elements, such as the bathroom, shower tray and screen, have been placed in white to give the color of the furniture the full prominence. In terms of lighting, in addition to the general lights embedded in the ceiling, a backlit mirror has been placed. In this way we have a specific light for each use.
